Toxins are found in nearly everything that we ingest. Toxins within our bodies can cause many health issues to occur, including chronic fatigue, cancer and degenerative diseases. We become less resistant to disease from the poisons in our system. Other health concerns that could arise are hormone imbalances, metabolism problems, and nutritional deficiencies. Our body has it's own way of ridding us of harmful substances such as the liver, lower gastrointestinal tract and kidneys. However, these organs can deteriorate after being used so often to fight the toxins.

Many people are looking for solutions to rid the body of these dangerous toxins by going on a detox diet. This can be accomplished by eating only organic foods, eating foods that have natural nutrients and minerals and by consuming antioxidants that are useful while on a healthy cleansing diet.

A herbal colon cleanse is used widely to help prevent diseases that can be caused by bacteria in the colon. If a person isn't having a bowel movement at least once a day they are at a high risk for disease. This might be a necessary part of a persons regular routine to rid himself of dangerous toxins.
