Oil reaches US$133
http://blog.greens.org.nz/ index.php/ 2008/ 05/ 22/ oil-reaches-us133/Oil at $133 a barrel. I have been tracking the price of oil for the last 6 or 7 months as it sneaked up towards and then over $100 a barrel, while the whole time saying I thought these high prices were slightly ahead of peak oil’s schedule. I think the last time I posted on the price it was $122. That was just over 2 weeks ago now. Since then it has risen another 9%.

So it begins…
http://raisingjoey.com/ ?p=1469So it begins… May 21st, 2008 Jess Two weeks ago I signed the paperwork to start Joey’s transition from his birth to three program into preschool. For some reason, it almost felt like I was signing my life away. It’s a longer process for a child with a disablity than a “typical” child.

That isn’t Fair!
http://jeanniecampanelli.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 21/ that-isnt-fair/How familiar are these words to you? You might hear your children say them. In frustration, your own inner child and/or adolescent voice(s) may utter them to yourself or even out loud. In my own work with countless clients, I have heard that phrase or a sophisticated version of that phrase at some point with almost everyone.

Being a “farmer” ain’t what it used to be
http://farmvetco.org/ ?p=36The image of the small farmer is changing radically. Not long ago, that image was of the small family-run operation that had been handed down from generation to generation. But as small family farms went out of business and were absorbed into huge factory farming operations, a gap emerged as the demand grew for locally grown, fresh and organic produce, dairy and meat.

Transitioning from a Crib to a Bed
http://babywisemom.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ transitioning-from-crib-to-bed.htmlFor many Babywise moms, the transition from a crib to a bed is much easier than they anticipated. That is how it was for us with Brayden. We moved Brayden from the crib to a twin size bed when he was 21 months old (but close to 22 months old). At the same time, he also moved to a new room.

http://lovedintobeing.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 21/ transitions-the-gift-of-a-hou…We’re one step closer toward closure here in St. Louis. The house has a contract on it. Over the past day I’ve been doing more packing and as I am surrounded by the boxes and the half-packed clutter, I am overcome with waves of gratitude. This house has been such an important part of my life over the past 2 years.

what a ridiculous person
http://andrewkindman.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 21/ what-a-ridiculous-person/I just had a quick meeting with Martin, the director. We talked about Ferlinghetti briefly, the Clintons briefly (Bill is a personal friend…), and then I showed him some numbers and stats about Paraguay I’ve been pulling out of some database accompanied by some possible explanations.

I’ll Have What She’s Having
http://lagniappemarketing.net/ index.php/ ill-have-what-shes-having/Over the past several days we’ve experienced what I would call, um purely unacceptable experiences with our server. So, in an effort to correct, I’ll be making some changes. Much to my dismay, it might mean being unreachable for a period of time, but we’ll be back and better ‘n ever! Please bear with us through this transition.
