No kidding! That was one of the Google searches someone used to access my blog… I’m thinking it’s not just divorced men that have a problem getting their minds and hearts around taking another chance on love, after going through the midlife wringer of betrayal, divorce disillusionment, and then arguing about every little thing they share in ownership with an irate soon-to-be ex.

Once you start changing things in your life, how do you know if you’re headed in the right direction? How do you even begin to change when you know your life is not working? My advice is to start anywhere you can if you feel hopeless, alone, and like a gigantic failure.

WOW! This eclipse didn’t take long to start creating some magic at our house! My husband Mike has been desperately seeking a better job for the past month or so, and on Monday the good word arrived! I had a funny midlife experience last week. When I got home from my writing group meeting, I had an e-mail from a producer at The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, FOX network. She said “they were working on a segment about Female Midlife Crisis” and were looking for “personal stories of women

One sentiment I enjoyed from the “Spiritual Eclectic” this week is how important it is to “do the spiritual work yourself.” Lorna Tedder knows some things about changing your life: “Spiritual work is not something you can copy from someone else’s homework and get the same result.

I’ve been reading a fabulous new book this week. Sheila Weller has done a bang up job of interweaving the lives and times of a few of my favorite singer/songwriters in Girls Like Us: Carole King, Joni MItchell, Carly Simon - and the journey of a generation.
