    This is a really tough post to write, because I'm upset. I was hoping that the PET/CT I had on Monday would confirm the low tumor markers I've been having for the past four months--CEA (tumor marker) numbers that were in the normal range, meaning that my cancer was gone.

    Usually, tests or scans are times of high anxiety for me, as they are for most--probably all--people living with cancer. For days before a test or scan and then for the days afterward until I get the results, I am spacy, stressed, and scared. But not this time.
