In many cultures, February 14th is special day dedicated to romance. Within each year couples of all ages set aside a little time from their lives to spend with the person they love on this day. This will also include the giving of flowers, candy and may include also a romantic dinner and hotel accommodation for the lovers to enjoy each others company and hopefully keep the spark glowing brightly between them. Valentine is the word for the gifts and cards given on Valentine’s Day. The day is named after two early Christian Martyrs named Valentine and has come to represent a day for fun and romance to blossom.
