The Calgary Stampede means many things to many people. To some, it’s an opportunity to let their inner cowboy or cowgirl out for the world to see. For others, it’s a reason to celebrate the disgusting wealth this city has offered up to us. For many, it’s a reason to get shit-faced drunk as often as possible in a ten-day period.

Gay Hispanic immigrants have transformed Dallas night life both inside and outside the city’s gay district. The once segregated Cedar Springs district has a gay Latino club and other spots that appeal to Hispanics while immigrants have created a gay district of their own off Maple Avenue.

I should say hold onto your hats. It might be a miners hat with a light, a cowboy hat, or a golf hat. All three could be donned this month. Here comes February in Tucson. Many await its arrival for different reasons. Though February is the shortest month of the year, but not as short as last year.
