What’s next to my being a private duty nurse? 15.08.08 Last July 25, 2008, our three-month training as nurses at Davao Regional Hospital ended, and after a week I have finally gotten my training certificate. It doesn’t look good, honestly. But anyway, it will be useful for me especially in applying jobs related to nursing.

Last Sunday, August 10,  the Cebu Bloggers Society members met for the 3rd time at the same venue. It was indeed a successful met up. As noticed, there was an increase of attendance. The main objective of the met up btw, was meeting the 3 travel bloggers from manila.

I would like to thank everyone who signed the online petition to urge Mr. Hermogenes Esperon to resign from his position as Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. As of this blogging, 61 people had already voiced out and said enough is enough.

A few hours from this writing the Cebu Bloggers will have a meet-up, again, in Bo’s Coffee Club, Ayala Center Cebu. As of writing no word yet on what’s gonna be the agenda for the 2pm meet-up. However, on the 5pm shift it’s gonna be a meet-up with some Travel Bloggers.

CMFR/PHILIPPINES – A radio broadcaster was killed on 7 August 2008 by a gunman riding pillion on a motorcycle in Roxas City, Capiz. Capiz is approximately 411 kms southeast of Manila. Martin Roxas, program director of dyKR-Radio Mindanao Network (RMN) in Roxas, was shot in the nape. Roxas was himself on a motorcycle.

"I strongly condemn the killing of radio commentator Martin Roxas of RMN-DYVR-Roxas City. A few hours ago, he wsas shot in the back while riding his motorcycle on his way home after his noontime program. "I call on the police force of Roxas City to immediately get to the bottom of this case, and bring the perpetrators to justice.
