Ever heard of a vlog? Well, by now you probably know what a blog is (web log). A vlog, instead of the written web log is a video blog. Got it? And a vlogger is someone who makes videos and posts them as his or her medium for communicating to the blogoshpere/vlogoshphere. The sphere stuff is just fancy terminology to make it sound as cool and technical as the "World Wide Web" or Cyberspace. Hunky Dory.

Actually vlogs are pretty cool. You know how most people have the attention span of the timed millisecond distance between the 1st and 2nd place Olympic sprinters running the 100-meter dash? Well, for individuals that don't want to spend the time reading, or just enjoy video clips more, this is a fantastic way to disperse information to them on the internet.

A vlog can be as simple as a Wordpress blog that has YouTube videos embedded inside of it. Some folks like to both blog and vlog because not all of their ideas are best relayed by either/or. The versatility of blogging and vlogging is terrific. You may blog one day and vlog the next, like this food storage site does. Vlogging gives you the chance to both show and tell.
