I've revised it since then, adding more accurate indicators of FitzRoy, Darwin and Co's overland journeys, from "Routes of CD's eight principal inland expeditions, as drawn for Nora Barlow's 1933 edition of The 'Beagle'

One of the Beagle Project's biggest fans, Kevin Zelnio of The Other 95% and Deep Sea News blogging fame, has just published a piece in Seed Magazine's "Why I Do Science" section entitled On the Allure of the Ocean's Novelty.

I watched the PBS documentary, Evolution: Darwin's Dangerous Idea (criticisms of the program noted), and I was dismayed by how little of the events Charles Darwin recorded in his Voyage of the Beagle (Volume One in this multi-volume set) appeared in the program.
