According to the LAT, one of filmdom's most enjoyable genres — that of the monkey movie — is being assailed by PETA activists, who are demanding that actor chimps be replaced by CG versions.

This box set which includes the three films from the “Matrix” franchise was originally an exclusive title to the ill-fated HD-DVD format but now is making it’s way to Blu-ray.

So, here’s the first image from the potentially kick-a** new martial arts action flick being produced by the Wachowski brothers. This is the Korean star Rain, looking rather beat down but also pissed off and pretty bad-a** … I’m looking forward to seeing this movie, mainly because I love martial arts movies.

Warner confirms plans to put “Speed Racer” in Dolby TrueHD in current ad in Home Media Magazine

As you’ll notice above the bonus materials are explained and in the 2nd image (from the bottom of the advertisement) you’ll notice the Dolby TrueHD logo.
