Wedding cakes are too cool. They are dressed so nice and look so polite, fitting in so well with the rest of the wedding entourage. The one and only problem is that sometimes wedding cakes contain things on them that are not really edible (like a fake bride and groom).

But hey, if you are getting married, you have every right to do whatever you want with your cake. At this stage of the game it's more about the celebration of two love birds than eating a cake. The pictures and memories are what count the most.

This isn't to say that wedding cakes don't taste heavenly, though. Wedding cakes can be beautifully decorated and be delightfully delectable at the same time. Some guys probably secretly wish that the wedding cake was made of meat (chicken pot pie, anyone?), but usually the girliness of "sugar and spice and everything nice" wins out on this occasion. That's why you'll see some wedding cakes looking almost as fancy as the bride's dress, they are so beautiful and ornate. One popular way of decorating a wedding cake is a Rolled Fondant, which can be "Abracadabra, reach out and grabya'" 3-dimensional fun.
