Widgets are software applications that can be easily installed and used within a few minutes and without any programming knowledge whatsoever. Widgets are made for mobile phones, desktops, and are very popular on Wordpress blogs. Social bookmarking sites like Del.icio.us also have widgets available for use to make bookmarking and showcasing your favorite websites simple.

Widgets have been designed to perform many functions making the design and monetization of blogs easy for everyone. Making money with Adsense becomes easy with powerful widgets that can be dragged and dropped to any part of a blog design. Widgets allow a blogger the simplicity of moving things around and changing them within seconds.
