Widgets Lab noticed that Wikinvest has released some interactive stock charts and that they look like they’re built in Flex. I’m a big fan of stock charts and while we’ve got a bunch of charts out there (Yahoo! Finance, Google Finance), I haven’t seen good ways to embed those interactive charts onto a blog.

While there are Stock Chart Widgets, most are info widgets and lack of any interactivity within the widget. they usually only serve of the information. most of these stock chart widgets are offerings for start pages like igoogle, my.yahoo and my.live or they are to be seen in the desktop.

For the investors or financial bloggers in the group this is some really hot news. It looks like wikinvest has launched new support for embeddable and interactive stock charts that are also annotable. Embedable stock charts are nothing new, and neither are interactive charts that give you price information as you mouse over different dates. Both Yahoo Finance and Google Finance offer interactive charts on their respective sites, and Yahoo offers embeddable static charts.
