While Obama's association with William Ayers has gained the most attention, we shouldn't forget that Ayers' wife is a special piece of work as well. She too was a terrorist with the Weather Underground. We can probably get a good taste of her character when she actually celebrated the Manson Family slaughter at the house of actress Sharon Tate.

CNN exposes Obama/Ayers Notice the $100+million Obama funneled to Ayers, Ayers’ wife and Rev. Wright

H/t Melody N. An Obama spokesman adamantly asserts that in 1995 Barack Obama was the most clueless man in Chicago. Andrea Mitchell thinks talk of Barack Obama's ties to an unrepentant terrorist is a "distraction." Rudy Giuliani doesn't. Mitchell is happy to take the NY Times's word for the fact that Obama and Ayers weren't close.  Rudy, not so much.

Not in so many words, but it's pretty hard to come to any other conclusion in this video report on Anderson Cooper's show: Cooper seems unusually dense at the end of this piece when he can't quite understand why Obama's relationship with Ayers could be a problem, but all in all, the reporting is

Believe it! Watch the video. It's amazing that CNN has finally deployed as many reporters (one) to investigate Obama's association with Bill Ayers as it used to investigate whether or not one can see Russia from Little Diomede Island, Alaska.

Barack Obama was asked during a primary debate about William Ayers. Even CNN admits that Barack Obama was lying about his connection: Obama and Ayers funneled money to activist education groups, racist groups such as ACORN, and this guy: Still think Barack Obama’s connections don’t matter? 

As always, I am very interested in hearing from readers about why this does or doesn’t matter. The CNN report makes it clear that Obama wants to minimize the actual relationship. I think this mostly goes away if Obama said somthing like, I made a mistake in hitching my wagon to this guy and moved away from him when I realized what he did and what he stood for.
