    Criminal Minds: Tabula Rasa

    http://criminalminds.oncbs.tv/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ criminal-minds-tabula-rasa/

I did take the time to look this up because I had no idea what it meant. William Gibson: Pattern Recognition (2003)

    http://simonsbookblog.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ william-gibson-pattern-recognition…

Published: Viking, 2003 One of the oddest feelings when reading (or, even more, re-reading) science fiction from the past is when time has often caught up with it, and you are reading a novel of the future set at at date which is in your past.

    Memorial day - 49

    http://yesbut-thinkingaloud.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ memorial-day-49.html

When Sonny Rollins puts down his saxophone and stops playing, for me, a large measure of what makes music great will disappear. That will be a terrible, terrible moment — a moment I don’t care to even think about. Gary Giddins. 2002   Sonny Rollins is playing in Sydney for the first time ever in about a month.

My recent post on the Guardian Film Blog tells the story of Nuru Rimington-Mkali (above left), a young 21-year-old filmmaker from Peckham in South London.
