Materials list to make this Lily flower necklace: Polymer clay (of course), copper wire and recycled beads from vintage jewelry: Sometimes when you’re making jewelry, it is nice to have a bunch of different materials lying around for inspiration. That’s exactly how the flower necklace pendant in show in the photo, came to be.

Artist Camille Young has a great tutorial on her blog for making polymer clay barbed wire using Lumina Polymer Clay.  Its so realistic and alot less painful than the real thing. They look great as rings and pendants! Share This

Artisan handmade wire wrapped pink opal ring August 24, 2008 By: Kristy Category: Jewelry Whew! I had the hardest time finding pink opal nuggets for this ring. It was a special request; similar to one I had made a while back. You would think that a smaller rounder nugget shaped stone would be easy to find.

[Show as slideshow] New in my Etsy Store, A Beaded Affair, this charming Ocean Jasper and Copper pendant. The pictures don’t do this one justice and I just can’t get the perfect representation of the depth of color on this one. Think cocoa browns and a touch of olive green.

August 17, 2008  I was teaching my youngest how to do a wire-wrap for some jewelry she was making.  Since other people have requested wire wrapping instructions,  I decided to take some photos and write a short tutorial. I pulled out two of my most commonly used pliers. On the right is an inexpensive ring pliers.
