Subscribe to Comments Plugin
http://www.spamboy.com/ latest-updates/ subscribe-to-comments-plugin/At WordCamp Dallas, I learned some new strategies for promoting readership on my blog. Beginning with this post, I’ll highlight how I have applied some of those lessons to Spamboy.com. One of the first things I implemented was the Subscribe to Comments plugin by Mark Jaquith.

I Am a Nasally Non-Nosferatu
http://www.spamboy.com/ latest-updates/ i-am-a-nasally-non-nosferatu/Thanks to Daynah, a GeekBrief.tv fan, I’ve discovered my plan to remain fairly anonymous was dealt a blow. She let me know that during Wordcamp Dallas, I was captured on video asking a question of Cali and Neal about their upcoming road trip.

WordCampDallas Business Panel
http://www.successful-blog.com/ 1/ wordcampdallas-business-panel/An Exceptional Experience I’m not a fan of panels as presentation format. I’ve been on them and attended them, and in both roles, I’ve found that the experience is often less than it might have been with a well-prepared speaker. Still I was honored when I was invited to join the business blogging panel at WordCampDallas 2008.

Dallas plans to meet to talk about Blogging, regularly
http://www.williamedia.com/ blog/ archives/ 2008/ dallas-blogs-meets-regularlyThe act of meeting a new and real friend happens by chance but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead to meet people in a similar field of interest cause you don’t really know those people so there is still that chance. One of those kind of meetings has been planned for Saturday April 26 at 4:00pm in the year of 2008.

Business of Blogging
http://technosailor.com/ 2008/ 04/ 14/ business-of-blogging/I shared about this shortly after coming back from WordCamp Dallas (and I think that I posted a uStream video), but John Ponzadines hosted a panel where Liz Strauss, Matt Mullenweg, Mark Ghosh and I talked about businesses and blogging. Here is the professional video. It was quite a fun panel.

WordPress Testing Presentation Video
http://www.santosj.name/ general/ wordpress-testing-presentation-video/Critique of Myself Crap. I think I found some things out watching the video: I should take Johnathon Bailey’s advice and do like he does when giving a presentation. He’s rocked, mine was barely passable. I need to lose weight, so that I don’t have to pause to breath every other two words or so.

THAT’s Reader Appreciation!!
http://www.successful-blog.com/ 1/ thats-reader-appreciation/Not Everyone Would Do This Much Ronald Huereca, of The Reader Appreciation Project, was in the audience of WordCamp Dallas. This week he posted a 25-page transcript, called Liz Strauss at WordCamp Dallas Transcript. Imagine the incredible work typing and rewinding the video to get 45 minutes into a transcript.
