Here is information I received and I’m forwarding it along to BNG: Please come to the benefit for Proposition K on the November ballot (decriminalize sex work).  This is a matter of worker’s rights.    Lined up against us is the Republican Party and Pacific Gas and Electric (your utility payments at work thanks to the Public Utilities Commission and Gavin!).

In July in Las Vegas, the United Steelworkers and the UK-based Unite the Union agreed to form the Workers Uniting, the first global union. There have been international and regional union federations before. In November 2006 the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU) and the World Confederation of Labour (WCL) merged to form the International Trade Union Confederation.

    http://wildchihuahuas.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 09/ great-big-small-steps-for-arizona.…

Labor Day was the perfect day for the grand opening of Arizona's first worker rights center. What's a worker rights center, you ask? The Interfaith Worker Justice AZ Worker Rights Center is a place where anyone who gets paid for his or her labor can come to learn his or her rights under AZ law, and find out how to seek remedies when those rights are violated.

    Guardianship - Making decisions

    http://fightingmonsters.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 09/ 03/ guardianship-making-decisio…

From my earlier posts about the possible use of Guardianship and the interrelation with powers under the  Mental Capacity Act in the context of a current decision that needs to be made at work, it seemed that in general, the Mental Capacity Act offers a similar authority to the Mental Health Act.
