The term "world news" refers to any news story that has a global relevance or interest. This information is usually presented by large media corporations such as BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), CNN, ITN, SBS and SKY NEWS.
Traditionally, world news has been broadcast via television. More recently, it has found a home on the internet on a 24 hour basis.
