world news

The term "world news" refers to any news story that has a global relevance or interest. This information is usually presented by large media corporations such as BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), CNN, ITN, SBS and SKY NEWS.

Traditionally, world news has been broadcast via television. More recently, it has found a home on the internet on a 24 hour basis. The topics can range from the latest breaking global economic breakdown, to solar energy and related energy topics, to the latest toy to make a global impact on people's lives. Additionally most major broadcasting centers host a piece on sports, vacations and trip planning, especially during popular holidays and summer.

World news is very popular with bloggers, because by nature, it affects all of us. The MSNBC blog, hosted by the team at MSNBC news, is a typical example of the sites available under this topic search. The presentation is of the highest quality with links to other countries and illustrations of the most colorful items of recent news headlines.
