The Yellow Pages have come a long way since the days when TV commercials urged consumers to "let their fingers do the walking." These days, with the rise of the internet, it's actually more like letting your fingers do the typing.

Although, the telephone company still publishes its annual book containing thousands of business listings — all within those bright yellow pages — more and more consumers are turning to their computers to find company information.

With search engines like Google and Yahoo gobbling up much of this lucrative advertising market, this has not gone unnoticed by Ma' Bell. Many phone companies have launched their own Online Yellow Pages. The newest kids competing for dollars on the Yellow block include the ever popular Dex, Yellowbook and Superpages.com.

You'll find bloggers who let their fingers do the clicking at sites like YPCommando and YellowCrooks.com.
