Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately known as Yorkies, are a small breed of dog. Yorkshire Terriers are also known as Toy Terriers. These dogs are friendly and good with children and boast a sleek, silky coat.

Another popular type of Yorkie is the Teacup Yorkshire Terrier, which is very small, but maintains the desirable characteristics of a Yorkshire Terrier. A similar small variance of this dog breed is the Miniature Yorkshire Terrier. Essentially the same as the Teacup variety, these are smaller than traditional Yorkshire Terriers. A Shih Tzu is another breed of dog that Yorkie lovers adore. With a long, silky coat and sweet personality, Shih Tzus are loved by all.
