Here is a tiny update on Sad Alien. I wanted to start body and I discovered that I’m lazy to do some serious quality modeling in XSI, so I’ve created very very simple basemesh, like Alex’s was for body lesson, and I’ve started to sketch body in ZBrush. It’s easier, faster and more funny for me.

Really enjoyed this one, and realised I have a lot of bad habits sculpturally. This has been great for destroying some dubious assumptions I’ve been making about the face.

Well I made a how to uv map a zbrush tool in a 3rd party 3d app. here it is enjoy hope it helps and is clear.I tried it to make it simple as possible. now the final uv map I would make alot better but it should get you started the right way of doing things.

I’ve been playing around with a 3d program called Z Brush, which replicates (or tries to)  molding/sculpting something in the real world (by giving you a base figure which you can add or remove matter to). Thought I’d share a few things I wound up with.
