JavaScript: Sort object by a value

    http://wolfram.kriesing.de/ blog/ index.php/ 2008/ javascript-sort-object-by-a-v…

Actually the headline is not really what I want to say :-). But I don’t know any better yet. I just want to write down how I solved sorting the following: >>> var maxSpeed = {car:300, bike:60, motorbike:200, airplane:1000, helicopter:400, rocket:8*60*60} This is a list of vehicles with their (approx.) max speeds.

HTML5 custom data: A possible savior for the poor, overloaded class attribute?

    http://blogs.pathf.com/ agileajax/ 2008/ 05/ html5-custom-da.html

The HTML5 custom data proposal received a lot of attention last month, but I forgot to post about it during my preparations for Web 2.0 Expo. Reviewing the proposal now, I'm excited all over again. After doing lots of jQuery work lately, I'm sick and tired of the poor HTML "class" attribute getting used and abused for unobtrusive JavaScript.

ASP.NET AJAX UpdatePanel and the DataSource Control

    http://dotnettips.com/ 2008/ 05/ 16/ ASPNETAJAXUpdatePanelAndTheDataSourceContro…

I built a page that uses the ASP.NET AJAX UpdatePanel and within it I placed a GridView control that connects to a DataSet (that uses TableAdapers to a SQL Server 2005 database back end) using a DataSource control. I do not use paging in the GridView so that the user can print all of the items in the grid.
