Columbus is #21st Best City for Singles in 2008

    http://walker.columbusunderground.com/ ?p=868

Forbes just published the results for their annual “Best Cities for Singles” list, and Columbus has slipped from 19th Place in 2007 down to 21st Place in 2008. We seem to do well in the categories of “Cost of Living Alone” and “Online Dating” while our biggest problem category is “Coolness” this year.

Will Apple enter the VJ market?

Magnetosphere revisited (audio by Tosca) from flight404 on Vimeo. At first blush, it seems absurd. At second blush, you may be blushing precisely because of how obvious it is. I thought about this possibility shortly after reading about the rumored new visualizer in iTunes 8.

    If You Haven’t Heard Voddie…

    http://vaughnshire.com/ 2008/ 09/ 06/ if-you-havent-heard-voddie/

Thanks to one of our commenters who reminded us to mention Voddie’s blog.  We regularly follow his blog, but lately Dr. Baucham has been hitting the issues hard over there:  Evangelical Two Step Framing the Abortion Debate  Did McCain Make A Pro-Family Pick  Waking Up The Sheeple If you haven’t heard Dr.

A Reminder: Obama’s “Culture of Death”

    http://www.f3coalition.org/ 2008/ 09/ 06/ a-reminder-obamas-culture-of-death/

As we come into the final stretch of this election process, less than 60 days; the airwaves are becoming littered with mud. The tactics are getting uglier and uglier. Deceit is becoming commonplace and if you’re not enlightened to the facts of these candidates you could be led astray all too easily.

    Happiness is a Wagyu Steak

    http://www.duncanriley.com/ 2008/ 09/ 07/ happiness-is-a-wagyu-steak/

I finally got around to trying Wagyu steak, the famous Japanese corn fed, heavily marbled stake that commands premium prices compared to regular beef. Tender, sweet without being overboard, mouth watering, and not at all fatty, which considering how marbled the steak is was suprising.

Maybe Cambodia isn’t that fun anyways

    http://myvirtualworld.poshguru.com/ 2008/ 09/ 07/ maybe-cambodia-isnt-that-fun-a…

Maybe Cambodia isn’t that fun anyways Okay, I said from my previous post how I want to go with my mom to Cambodia but now I think It’s not worth the travel. My just called and she said that she’s feeling sick there because its too hot. First off, I hate hot weather and its always a turn off.

‘Modern Love’: Having Your Own Cyberstalker

    http://jdatersanonymous.com/ ?p=492

Amy Klein (who now writes the illustrated column “True Confessions of an Online Dating Addict“) was an editor at Los Angeles’ Jewish Journal when her stalker announced himself on his blog. From then on, she could rely on (and sometimes fear) his attentions.

    Responsibility & Accountability

    http://www.vamortgagecenter.com/ blog/ 2008/ 09/ 06/ responsibility-accountabili…

I have no doubt that in the future, people will do a Google search and end up reading this post and immediately say, “who does this guy thinks he is?” Or, “I expected more from a First Sergeant or NCO.” To those who leave this post with such thoughts in your mind, I really don’t care what you think about me.

    My dog

    http://cerno.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 09/ 07/ my-dog/

Switched the first and last letters of “dog” and you have his perception of himself. He was the “family’s” dog only in the context of municipal regulations on dog ownership. As far as he was concerned we were “his” humans. Who existed to serve him in exchange for his protective presence and wisdom.

    and it feels like….

    http://jeanniegrrl.com/ 2008/ 09/ and-it-feels-like/

I’ve been running all fucking day. I haven’t done shit, I’ve been too sore, too weak, too run down…. Yet I’ve been in motion nonstop. I’ve had full responsibility for all things “home” from the minute I opened my eyes. I am mom, hear me whimper… *sighs deeply* Weemale just dropped, large male has been down for a while.
