Breakfast Fried Rice
http://www.slashfood.com/ 2008/ 05/ 22/ breakfast-fried-rice/Filed under: Breakfast, Recipes, Rice The name of this recipe immediately brought to mind Chinese food, of course, and I've never thought of fried rice as a particularly breakfast-ish food. But if you think about it, a lot of fried rice has eggs and onion in it, so why not? And this one goes one step further and includes bacon.

We’re not alcoholics.
http://worshipcity.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 21/ were-not-alcoholics/I’m standing in Aisle 3 with Rae contemplating which barbecue sauce to get for our burgers we’ll be grilling tomorrow and Saturday. We’re laughing because we notice this trend of alcohol companies getting in on the action. Like: The Apple Pan
http://stuffilikeandstuffidontlike.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 21/ like-the-apple-p…I’m planning on going to The Apple Pan for lunch this week. The Apple Pan is awesome. It’s a lone, independent burger joint that features one big rectangular counter. The burgers are pretty solid. The patties are more of the thin variety but they got great fixins and best of all this werid bbq sauce that totally makes the whole thing work.

Marinated leg of lamb
http://chefannemarie.com/ blog/ marinated-leg-of-lamb/Fresh American lamb is the best kind to use; I find that New Zealand lamb has a slightly muttony flavour. I ask my butcher to bone and butterfly the leg of lamb for me. This simply means that he removes the bone and cuts the leg open. My butcher is always happy to give me the bones and the trimmings.

Review: Vampfire Hot Sauce
http://www.hotsauceblog.com/ hotsaucearchives/ vampfire-hot-sauce/First Impression: After having this guy on my shelf for a few weeks, I finally realized it was called “Vampfire” and not “Vampire” Hot Sauce. Neat. The coloring book style vampire on the front of the bottle looks like he is halfway between bloodthirsty phantom of the night and your middle school

Meatballs and Sauce Therapy Session
http://worstcookever.com/ 2008/ 05/ 21/ meatballs-and-sauce-therapy-session/Last night, naked beneath the sheets, watching The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, my gentleman lover whispered in my ear, ‘You look like her.’ Glancing over my long dark locks draped against my chest, and then up at the bubbly blond, Vera Miles, looking doe eyed at John Wayne, I looked back at him perplexed.
