After the busy "news update" TWM last week, this week I decided to bring you an episode dedicated to cool Telerik coding tip. Specifically, in this episode I show you how you can easily use the client-side API of RadGrid for ASP.NET AJAX to enable complete keyboard control over all filtering operations.

After a short interruption to the weekly flow of TWM episodes courtesy of Ike, we get things re-started this week with a quick re-cap of some important Telerik news. Today's video is strictly updates- no code or demos- but I'll be preparing more content this week that will include some fun new "bite size" demos.

Since our first official release in July, we have received lots of feedback from customers about things we need to improve. And we listened! The new release adds several important features that make working with the control easier. Here is the list: Improved selection handling.

This was a big week for the Telerik Evangelism Team. As of Monday, our ranks grew by two as we welcomed John Kellar and Gabe Sumner to Telerik's Developer Evangelism role. Both of these guys are outstanding developers and great communicators, so we're very happy to have them on our team.

This week we take a quick look at Google's brand new browser, Google Chrome. Actually, it's Google's new beta browser, but I guess at this point Google and beta products go hand-in-hand. In this week's longer than usual update (about 5 minutes total), I bring you some essential news updates and then show you quickly how to build a highly optimized auto save form with RadEditor and WCF. The form utilizes RadEditor's rich client-side API to implement a non-intrusive auto save feature that only saves content when an user stops typing.

DevLink 2008 day one is almost over, and so far the conference is off to a great start! Sessions are packed, lots of questions are being asked, and Open Space sessions are lively. If you didn't make the event this year, definitely make plans to be here next year.

Tonight I bring you the first of what is hopefully a series of "live-ish" updates from devLink 2008. These "special edition" episodes are a little different than the normal news, updates, and quick tips, but hopefully they'll become the norm as I travel the globe speaking at events and interacting with the .NET community.

In this week's episode. I show you a quick tip for fixing CSS "timing" issues. Specifically, as you may have noticed with this blog's new theme, when the page initially loads, you cannot view blog post text. That's because the background being set on my BODY tag (which is dark) is rendered by the browser before the white background for the page's text.
