Introduction Friday is Chinposin Day. If the prvious line did not make any sense to you, then it’s time you read my good friend Blag’s blog on Chonposin. What started off as an one off experiment is growing into a full fledged avatar management platform with more and more functionality being added every day.

OK So this is a late post, but it deserves capturing on the chinposin blog. This is our lead developer Chris Dalby, aka yellowpark. Last week’s Chinposin theme was A Younger You. It generated some great pictures of the community.

On Monday… I try to avoid travelling on a Monday as it means packing a bag on Sunday night.  As such, Mondays are often spent in Edinburgh, with the bag packing chore postponed to Monday night. On Tuesday… I flew down to London – I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve made the trip this year,

My five year old calls avatars “stamps”. He changes his stamp frequently (his account on the PC). Although he thinks grown-ups aren’t allowed to change their avatars. He has the freedom to be a car, or skateboard, or star for the day - but adults, well he thinks our digital identities are so….static.

pass it on… 03-04-08 Let me talk quickly about one of the most awesome poeple in my virtual world. Craig Cmehil is the community evangelist over at the SAP Developer Network. He is awesome because he is always out there on the cutting edge pushing the community trying new things.

I was able to attend the big Heroes Happen Here product launch last week. Andy Westgarth and myself recorded a few interviews with the Microsoft Executives, expect to see those over appearing soon.

It was great to see my old sparring partner Loic LeMeur at the Seesmic HQ last week. This is us goofing around which just goes to prove that professionals can have fun. Note the chinposin thing going on. Bonus points as I reveal something unusual about my name.
