Carl and Richard were in attendance (and speaking) at DevLink 2008, and busted out their microphone on Saturday night at the hotel bar. I was fortunate enough to be one of the folks that got interviewed. The conversation includes Alan Stevens, Joe Stagner, Brian Prince, Jim Holmes, Jim Wooley, and several others.

I had the pleasure of attending devLink this past weekend in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Honestly, I almost blew this conference off.  The sessions really didn’t appeal to me, and it was a bit of a hike to get to.  But then Amanda Laucher announced the DevLink Bus.

I'm still trying to gather my thoughts after attending DevLink this past weekend. One thing that I want to highlight is how great these regional conferences are and how much they are a perfect fit for Open Spaces.

DevLink 2008 day one is almost over, and so far the conference is off to a great start! Sessions are packed, lots of questions are being asked, and Open Space sessions are lively. If you didn't make the event this year, definitely make plans to be here next year.

Tonight I bring you the first of what is hopefully a series of "live-ish" updates from devLink 2008. These "special edition" episodes are a little different than the normal news, updates, and quick tips, but hopefully they'll become the norm as I travel the globe speaking at events and interacting with the .NET community.

It's hard to believe summer is almost over. It seems like just yesterday we were having fun at TechEd 2008 and talking about brand new Telerik suites. But time has once again flown by and now the busy season of Fall events is almost upon us.
