Sorry guys, I don’t buy it
http://www.politicalbyline.com/ 2008/ 09/ 06/ sorry-guys-i-dont-buy-it/I happen to be reading over at HotAir.com. It seems that Ed Morrissey was on the Northern Alliance Radio Network, and some guy, claiming to be a volunteer driver calls in and proceeds to tell them that MSNBC’s coverage was rigged, that MSNBC’s people basically lied about what they said on the air, and that Chris Matthew’s prescreened everyone, before interviewing them.

http://www.steveersinghaus.com/ archives/ 1263I’ve had odd problems with my isight camera ever since I purchased my macbook pro, switching over from a PC after more than twenty years with the IBM and Windows paradigm, even though I got interested in computers in the early eighties with Apple 2es.

http://www.tasteto.com/ 2008/ 09/ 06/ in-the-papers-saturday-september-6th/Here’s a round-up of the food & drink articles in Toronto’s papers today… Globe & Mail: Joanne Kates returns from her annual summer sabbatical, and perhaps it’s because she’s been surviving on camp food since June, but she goes head-over-heels for the food at Nota Bene - although she’s not quite so complementary of the service.

Obama and McCain Tie In TV Audience for Acceptance Speeches
http://liberalvaluesblog.com/ ?p=4258Now that the PBS numbers have been included in the ratings it looks like a tie between the audiences watching the acceptance speeches by Barack Obama and John McCain with each estimated at having 42.4 million viewers. There is no count for C-SPAN. Obama’s speech was also given at the start of a holiday weekend, possibly reducing his audience.

Sarah Palin’s Affair
http://www.melissaclouthier.com/ 2008/ 09/ 06/ sarah-palins-affair/Word has it that Sarah Palin impregnated her husband’s former business partner and continued co-property owner friend. This is a serious allegation that my San Fran true believer Obama supporting friend feels I should cover.

Blowback: Media Booed At McCain/Palin Rally in Wisconsin
http://patriotroom.com/ ?p=1700Blowback can be a real bitch. And it couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of folks. Yes, we have a 1st Amendment, but the liberal press seems to forget that, in America, everybody gets to play. Hundreds of angry people in this small town outside Milwaukee taunted reporters and TV crews traveling with Sen.

Dear 3M and OfficeMax: What We Have Here is a Failure to Communicate
http://www.whatsnextblog.com/ archives/ 2008/ 09/ post_it_notes_marketing_a_mix_…OfficeMax has run some fascinating ad campaigns over the past couple of years and I admire the the work of its agency, The Escape Pod. I also love the company's willingness to try weird ideas, like Get Elfed and my fave, the Tul pen campaign.
