It's been a tradition for each major build release of Android to launch, where Google places the latest life-size version on their front lawn. As you can see above, there are several others to join the Alumni of Android, the latest being Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich".
Set to be announced on October 19th 2011 at the All Things Digital:AsiaD conference in Hong Kong, Google and Samsung are expected to show off Ice Cream Sandwich to the world. The device rumored to be the first running Android 4.0 ICS is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Nexus Prime as known to the media previously). The Galaxy Nexus is said to have a 4.65inch Super AMOLED HD Plus capacitive touchscreen display, 8 megapixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p HD video, and a 1.5GHz dual-core Exynos processor. Sounds awesome, can't wait!
Here's a video of the Android crew moving the statue onto Google HQ's lawn.
