Instagram is Coming to Android; CEO States

Instagram is one of those apps for iOS that Android users have always been jealous of, trust me, I'm one of them. Sure, there are many apps available on Android that users can get by with, which do a pretty good job of making your pics look professionally touched up. A couple that come to mind that I use are Flickr and PicSay Pro, both are very capable and easy to use. That said though, they don't have the ease of sharing and uploading like Instagram does, nor do they have the popularity of Instagram, which means, there will likely be more advancement and updates coming to an application like Instagram before any of the others for Android.
The days of waiting for Instagram are going to be numbered, as the Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom announced their plans in bringing the app to Android users! The statement made at the LeWeb conference in Paris goes like this;
"We have two people working on Android now, Our focus now is on growing the network. You really need to build up the network, or no advertisers care"
No time for launch was given of course, but at least we know they're working on it! Don't go switching to an iPhone just yet.Source - cnet
