Plight of the Spec Snob: Why Nexus 7 Still Isn't Good Enough For Some - Page 3
Holy. Crap. Seriously? I can go on and on why a $200 tablet is a $200 tablet, but reasoning falls on deaf ears for these impossible spec snobs. Obviously Google failed these folks because they can’t copy every torrent created since the days of Moses onto the mightiest microSD card available. Anyone who truly “gets it” knows the tablet category is still very much in its infancy, and they know they can only ask for so much from what essentially is a toothless toddler (i.e. any iPad or any post-iPad competitor).
Perhaps in five years, it will be a different story, and complaints of no cellular connectivity or microSD card will be valid ones. Heck, microSD cards may be irrelevant eventually as on-board storage will likely be massively larger in the coming years as will the availability of free Wi-Fi. Perhaps my comment from the thread was in vain, but I'd like to think someone appreciated it. I know at least Michelle Graham Day did. Michelle, if you're reading this, you're the coolest Michelle Graham Day ever.
Michelle Graham Day: all of Stephen Victor's post had me
