While much of the thunder at CES was about Verizon's new iPhone offering, and AT&T's new Android products, T-Mobile has been continuing to quietly expand its Android-powered offerings, making them the carrier with perhaps the best current selection of Android phones.

Today, they announced the availability of the Cliq 2, Motorola's follow-up to their Android-powered Cliq XT, a medium-featured but underpowered offering on the network.

The new phone is a vast improvement over the last though: with a 1 GHz processor, a 5MP camera with flash, corporate email support, and an included 2MB memory card, the Cliq 2 may well be an attractive choice, particularly given its pricing: just $99 with a new line or renewal, $399 cash.

This brings the number of Android-powered phones offered by the carrier for under $99 to an even dozen (more if you count color variations), a huge selection that should cover pretty much every need.
