T-Mobile G2 Specs Published
Well T-Mobile may have not wanted to publish specifics about the upcoming G2, the follow on to the ground-breaking G1 phone, but the manufacturer of the device, HTC, has no such problem.
HTC has made a G2 product page live on their site, and it's got official renderings of the phone as well as a full list of specs.
Aside from the 800 MHz Qualcomm chip (sorry kids, no 1 GHz chip), the G2 comes stock with 4GB of ROM and 512 MB of RAM. The display is a 3.7-inch WVGA touchpanel, and it has a 5MP camera with flash that shoots HD video as well (sweet).
Of course it has the slide-out keyboard (which HTC is calling "bombproof") supports Google Voice Actions, and ships with Android 2.2.
The one thing they don't say? When it'll be available from T-Mobile, or how it'll do in the inevitable Galaxy S smackdown (we're thinking Galaxy S will come out on top of this one, though battery life and keyboard may be the big mitigating factors).
Stay tuned...
