It's only a matter of a couple short weeks before we should hear what's to be the next generation iPad from Apple. Until we actually hear the official announcement however, we need to get what we can from all the news stories of uncovered images and leaked iPad 3 parts.

In the image above, we can see that the red arrows are pointing to mounting tabs and brackets seen on displays made by Sharp. This adds to the rumors that Sharp will be the supplier for the Apple iPad 3 Retina display sporting 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. Eye Lab Factory is credited for obtaining this image seen above, but it should go with a word of caution that the images obtained may in fact be from an early model of iPad 2, rather than a new iPad 3.

All that taken into consideration however, the display's fitting into the backpanel shows that there may be a slight increase of 1mm in thickness to the iPad model shown, which coincides with earlier reports of the iPad 3 being a little thicker to make way for all of the upgraded parts being launched.
