The wait is finally over. The gadget that we all have been waiting for, Apple’s new iPhone 4S, will be hitting the shelves tomorrow. I use the term hitting very loosely. In our struggling economy of lost jobs and cut wages us American feel like we have very little to look up to. None the less Apple seems to bring back that American spirit of ingenuity.

We all waited with bated breath for the announcement from Apple’s new CEO, Time Cook, to unveil the new line of Apple gear at the Apple headquarters on Oct 4, 2011, the first without the late Steve Jobs. We waited for what we thought was going to be an announcement of the iPhone 5. Instead Tim Cook and his team gave us a rundown of what is to be expected from the new iPhone 4S.

Even with much criticism of a weak product, the demand was high. AT&T reported that they received more than 200,000 preorders only within the first 12 hours. With a three companies combined, including new licensing with Sprint, the iPhone 4s boost over 1 million pre-orders in on day.

So if you are planning on heading down to your local Apple emporium, know this, there isn’t an iPhone 4S insight. Apple is reporting that they are expecting to sell out. Some people have been camping out for a week for what little stock the Apple store has to offer. If you are planning on ordering it online it could take up to 2 week before you can get a shipment out of Apple.

Apple is also planning on extending its network of Apple iPhone users by drastically cut prices on its line of smart phones. Apple is offering an 8-gigabyte iPhone 4 for only $100 and a 8-gigabyte iPhone3GS for free with a two year contract. To get your hands on an iPhone 4S you’ll have to drop $200 with a two year contract or $649 for a 16-GB, $749 for a 32 GB and $849 for a 64 GB.
