It's been just a couple of weeks since the new iPad was announced and available for pre-order. With the hot sales of Apple's 3rd generation iPad continuing to climb, apps available for them are also seeing huge numbers. Apple had just released iPhoto for the iPhone and iPad, right after the announcement of the new iPad. Since that launch, the app has seen over 1 million downloads. The app costs $4.99 from the iTunes App Store, so it isn't hard to do the math there. Apple has made over $5 million just from this one app within the last two weeks!

If you have an iPad or iPhone, you owe it to yourself to get this app. It is one of the apps that make having an iPhone or iPad all worth while, whether you are an artistic type or not. The app is wonderfully developed, and takes advantage of many multi-gestures within for smooth functionality. Admittedly, this works much better on the iPad's larger 9.7 inch screen as opposed to the iPhone's 3.7inches. Of course that's all relative to how big your fingers are, or how shaky they are from sitting in Starbucks all afternoon while you 'dabble' your images in iPhoto.

Well done Apple...well done indeed.
