ASUS Transformer Prime Back In Stock With Some Stores
It looks as though the ASUS Transformer Prime is working its way back into stock at a few retailers. Best Buy and Amazon have both put out notices saying that the device will be available for shipping and ordering once again. Best Buy suggests that the Transformer Prime will be released or shipping out on December 30th 2011, while Amazon.com sent out the email seen above to those inquiring, that the ASUS Transformer Prime is available to purchase and will ship out within 4 to 7 weeks (not exactly a great timeline).
As we last heard, Best Buy was giving customers who had pre-ordered the Transformer Prime a $10 gift card, and the ability to re-order the Prime tablet again if they chose, as some of the pre-orders were cancelled due to limited stock availability. Seems to be coming back now though, although it would be nice to get an official statement from ASUS as to why exactly the retailers were all shy on stock to begin with.
