At National Press Building Today: UFO Interference With Nukes
A press conference was held today at the National Press Building in Washington, DC to focus media attention on decades of UFO interference with U.S. military nuclear weapons installations.
UFO researcher Robert Hastings and former U.S. Air Force Captain Robert Salas organized the conference, which included presentations made by seven former USAF personnel.
Roughly two dozen media representatives attended the press conference, which CNN streamed live.
According to Hastings, more than 100 former or retired U.S. Air Force personnel have testified to "ongoing UFO surveillance of, and occasional interference with, our nuclear weapons.''
Salas, as we reported back in July, has had first-hand experience with such incursions.
On the morning of March 16, 1967, then Deputy Missile Combat Crew Commander (DMCCC) Robert Salas was on duty inside Malstrom AFB's subterranean Oscar-Flight Launch Control Center (LCC) capsule near Roy, Montana when he received a call from a “clearly frightened” topside security officer reporting that a UFO was hovering over the front gate. Alarms sounded moments later as, one after another, up to eight Minuteman missiles went into “no-go” (inoperable) condition.
Paradigm Research Group (PRG) executive director Stephen Bassett, who attended today's conference, said that "what should happen now is for members of the political press to direct specific questions regarding this testimony at the press spokespersons for the Department and Defense, U.S. Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency and expect answers from Secretaries Robert Gates, Michael Donley and Leon Panetta."
"At least that is what is supposed to happen if the political media in Washington, DC are not under government- or self-imposed restraints."
Previous UFO-related conferences held at the National Press Building have been organized by such ufology notables as Stephen Bassett, Disclosure Project director Dr. Steven Greer, journalist Leslie Kean and filmmaker Jamie Fox. Their witness panels have included high-ranking military and government officials, politicians and pilots from around the world.
