BlackBerry PlayBooks Boxing Day Sale and Angry Birds Released
It's been quite the year so far for Research In Motion, seeing the release of their PlayBook tablet, bad reviews, non-impressive new smartphone lineup, slow sales, BlackBerry 10 release issues, drunk executives and a BlackBerry Messaging Service outage that lasted more than 3 days worldwide. Finally, some good news coming for us consumers from RIM regarding the PlayBook. RIM is having another 'fire sale' so to speak for all models of the PlayBook. On top of that, Angry Birds is finally available in three flavors for the PlayBook, making this an excellent way to play the games on a much cheaper price tag. The BlackBerry PlayBook is awesome hardware, you just have to decide if you're willing to wait for Research In Motion to get the ball rolling on their highly scrutinized anticipated PlayBook 2.0 software upgrade in February 2012.
The PlayBook will be on sale at most retailers again for $199.99/16GB model, $249.99/32GB model (the best savings here), and $399.99/64GB model. Once you have one of these, you can grab Angry Birds from the BlackBerry App World on the PlayBook, or click the links below.
