Vacation, all you ever wanted?  Vacation: had to get away.  Vacation!  Blogs have got a lot to say.

paidContent — Yahoo! is doing fine, why do you ask?  Just like Adobe and Apple, they're doing fine... which is why they're all shutting down for about a week at the end of the year.  Want to get paid, Yahoo!ers?  Take vacation time.

AppleInsider — Brian Garner indirectly suggests what someone could do with a week off next year: watch TV on their Apple TV device.  Apple might finally have deals moving forward with Disney and CBS to become the new TV subscription provider.

Download Squad — Or you could do a little shopping, like Google bought Microsoft Office collaboration software makers DocVerse, as noted by Jay Hathaway.

9 to 5 Mac — Barring that, you could join forces with your enemy to fight your other enemy, as Seth Weintraub has suggested Apple and Microsoft might do to battle Google.
