Is there any man in the world who can say "no" to Steve Jobs?

Its been just a few hours since the Apple CEO put forward his 'dream' of having a huge, mouth-watering spaceship-like campus — already dubbed the Mothership — in Cupertino on the land he acquired from HP for $300 million in front of the Cupertino City Council and the Mayor, Gilbert Wong, has come out and said “There is no chance we are saying no” to Apple and their incredible proposal.

Mr. Wong, who seems totally flattened by El Jobso's poetic imagination, has issued a statement and organized a press conference confirming they're game. They have even given the Mothership a separate presence at their Cupertino website at www.cupertino.org/apple, where you can track the progress of the new facility and pop your eyes out on a couple of stunning renders of the new campus.

So what will the Mothership look like? For starters, there won't be a single piece of straight glass on show. Meaning, it will feature curved glass all the way around the building. This unbelievable architectural landmark will be bigger than Pentagon and will be the home to 12,000 employees.

The Mothership will also house a large auditorium and a single cafeteria that could accommodate 3,000 people at a time, have its own fitness center, and a dedicated R&D and testing center. Jobs will also show he cares for the nature by incorporating environment-friendly features like use of natural gas and other greener and more efficient fuels, giving the Mothership its own independent energy generating plant so that it uses the grid as backup.

This 4-story building is expected to be completed by 2015 and we really can't wait for the curtains to come down on this masterpiece. It'll be the beginning of a new era in the history of Apple Inc.
