Disney Releases 'Happiest App on Earth'

Can't afford to take the family to Disneyland this year? If you've got an iPad, you can bring the Happiest Place on Earth right to your living room, for all to enjoy.
There are over 100 unique activities or experiences to be enjoyed on the new Disneyland Explorer app, with beautiful images, videos and stories. Scroll through the entire park, as the theme music changes from land to land. Shoot down scurvy-laden pirate ships in the Pirates of the Caribbean game, play organ music along with ghouls in the Haunted Mansion, and clear out beehives on Splash Mountain with your water gun.

Stop by Toon Town (one of my favorites) and watch short historical cartoons chronicling the earliest days of the world's most famous mouse, in Mickey's House. You'll get to watch video tours of Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters and Finding Nemo's Submarine Voyage in Tomorrowland, then guide your own interplanetary tour in Star Tours.
Peppered throughout the app are high quality images of special features of the park, and let us not forget the self-controlled fireworks extravaganza.
I haven't even got into the Disney California Adventure activities. You've got to download the iPad app from the iTunes Store for yourself and gather the kids around to explore the Happiest App on Earth.
