Gizmodo Floats - Page 2
But that was nothing compared to their undisguised lack of shame hovering like buzzards for the chance to make a buck reporting bad news about Steve Jobs.
That kind of reporting represents the bottom-feeding, amoral, self-interested dregs of humanity. I expect more discretion from houseflies than from Gizmodo, and they always deliver.
Moving Right Along
The iPhone 4:
- Is still winning J.D. Powers awards
- Is still selling like contraband M&Ms at a fat farm
- Is still selling more units than ANY OTHER SMARTPHONE
Samsung can't sell its Galaxy Tab in Germany because it looks too much like an iPad. The German courts have decided. It's kind of funny, though. If they were selling it, people would find out quickly how utterly inferior it is to the original. Then they'd stop selling it because no one would be buying it, like in America. Things have a way of working out like that.
The Motorola Droid Bionic has debuted. Did you see the ad? The film-noir-ish killer robot shooting death-blasters at a blond with large breasts? The ad was designed to attract adolescent boys, which I'm sure it does until they find out it's an ad for a crappy iPhone knock-off. You cannot find out anything the phone does or claims to do from the commercial.
And finally, the mobile app goldrush is only on iOS. For all the reasons that the Open Sourcerers don't want to admit.
The best way to sum it up is a quote from Hyman G. Rickover, the father of nuclear power: "If you can't put your hand on the shoulder of the man who is responsible, no one is responsible." And that lady's and gentlemen is the difference between Apple and Android. It's also why Android has already lost.
Hey, get that out of your mouth. You don't know where that finger has been.
