We all know that games is a big part of Facebook's success on how it got a lot of people to join Facebook because of Farmville and Mafia Wars. It looks like Google will be taking a page on Facebook playbook by providing games on Google+ but only for a limited number of Google+ users.

Yes, a number of lucky Google+ users will have that Games icon between Circles and the People search bar. Some of the first game that will be available on Google+ are Angry Birds, Dragons of Atlantis, Flood-IT!, Collapse, Bejeweled, Bubble Island and Zynga Poker.

The Google+ games will be located at https://plus.google.com/games, if you're not one of the chosen one, then you'll get the screen below.

Google said on a blog post:

Today we’re adding games to Google+. With the Google+ project, we want to bring the nuance and richness of real-life sharing to the web. But sharing is about more than just conversations. The experiences we have together are just as important to our relationships. We want to make playing games online just as fun, and just as meaningful, as playing in real life.

That means giving you control over when you see games, how you play them and with whom you share your experiences. Games in Google+ are there when you want them and gone when you don’t.

Which means unlike the games on Facebook that floods your feeds, on Google+ you'll have the ability to control over the games; whom you share them with, when you see games, how you play them. I guess they're (Google) learning from some of the bad habits of Facebook games.

The last line clear tells you that I didn't like Facebook Games. You can the complete Google's blog post here
