There's good news for HTC owners because the company's flagship smartphone, the HTC One X, will finally get a "taste" of the Android Jelly Bean, according to a report.
The Android 4.1 update on HTC One X will start rolling out first in Taiwan and Singapore for now and it's expected that the company will swiftly deploy the over-the-air (OTA) Jelly Bean update to other territories fairly soon.
The question is, what is Android Jelly Bean and why a lot of Android users is looking forward and are patiently waiting for it? Well, it gives users a smoother experience via Project Butter, more accurate face unlock and has battery optimization built-in that extends the life of your Android device. Plus, the upgrade will integrate HTC Sense 4+ and Google Now on the device. To note, the said update is first being made available to international HTC One X devices, with network branded devices receiving Jelly Bean once it has been approved by their network.
For those of you who are not very familiar with One X, here's what makes it currently the HTC's flagship smartphone. The key features of this handset include Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS (currently upgrading to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS), a 1.5GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, a 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen with a display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. This smartphone has an 8-megapixel CMOS camera with a backside illuminated sensor which exhibits almost zero shutter lag and very minimal focus hunt, meaning it takes pictures quickly and continuously — as fast as some point-and-shoot professional cameras. Other features include a polycarbonate unibody shell, a microSIM slot, and an 1800 mAh battery.
Finally, the HTC One X smartphone is undeniably of the best handsets that's considered to be worth the money.
