Well Apple hit their schedule, and Engadget is reporting that iOS4 updates are now available for the iPhone 3G, 3GS, recent iPod Touch models and the iPhone 4, which no one has yet (or at least no one that has accidentally left it in a bar).

The release version has the same build number as the gold master candidate that was released a couple of weeks ago, so if you've grabbed that from somewhere, you're already rocking the final release.

We've talked about the update before, with the claimed 1500 new features, but the big changes include multitasking, a unified inbox (a la Blackberry), folders, iBooks, better mail handling, and data detectors.

If you've got a device that is eligible for upgrade, you should have already toddled off to get it, so we'll just shut up now. (If not, check iTunes - it's coming up there.)
