iPhone 4G LTE May Still be a Year Away
Disappointment seems to loom upon Apple users as the rumors mills around about a delay in the release of iPhone 4 follow up. The plans for a 4G capable iPhone seems to have been delayed to sometime next year.
The latest offering supposed to come from Apple and is being rumored to be called iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 was to support 4G LTE(Long Term Evolution).Digitimes has reported that the iPhone 4G has been delayed owing to “yield rates of LTE chips“.Though a non 4G iPhone may strike by year end.
The lower proliferation of 4G networks may also be a reason for this. The major hinderance in the creation of a 4G LTE mobile is simply the lack of a chip that may combine 3G and 4G communication. This is required because of the 4G network is not as widespread as it may be wished for, so it has to be combined with a 3G system which may communicate in the absense of 4G. The bulkyness that may result due to the inclusion of 2 chips would bring constraints on the designs of cell phone.
