LinkedIn Today Available for Android Users

LinkedIn has grown steadily in numbers and quality since its official launch in May 2003. In March of this year, the giant social network for business professionals reached the major milestone of 100 million users and launched LinkedIn Today. This unique content curation service delivers daily articles shared by a user's connections and peers, as well as the professional LinkedIn community at large.
So far, LinkedIn Today was only available to desktop and iPhone users — through LinkedIn’s iPhone app. However, yesterday marked the official expanding of the service to the Android app.
When first launching News, Android users can see the top stories trending across LinkedIn. They can then decide to read the articles and share and / or send them to their connections.
LinkedIn Today is also about relevancy and ease of access. The curation site allows users to quickly view the list of news categories they follow. Unfollowing those categories and / or picking additional ones can be done by tapping the “Read news by category” section at the top of the page.
“By choosing other categories to follow, you’ll get more relevant news targeted to what you care about most professionally,”says Chad Whitney, on the LinkedIn blog.
To download the Android app and start accessing LinkedIn Today directly on your mobile device, visit Google Marketplace or LinkedIn.com.
